Expectations: We can say that first Ring (US version with Naomi Watts) was original and scary, let’s even say in a rank with the original Japanese version. Second one was pretty bad and not memorable, and this, third movie called Rings seems to be even worse. So, in a previous movies you have saved yourself when you made a copy, but as you make more and more copies (movies) you have to die, or just  be forbidden to make stupid watered down movies…

Plot: A new chapter in the beloved RING horror franchise. A young woman becomes worried about her boyfriend when he explores a dark subculture surrounding a mysterious videotape said to kill the watcher seven days after he has viewed it. She sacrifices herself to save her boyfriend and in doing so makes a horrifying discovery: there is a ‘movie within the movie’ that no one has ever seen before…

EXCITMENT METER: 3/10

Maybe I’m just too big of a horror fan so i will watch this version. At least these first 3 minutes of the movie look interesting. Thou when i read “you might die out of boredom” you gotta ask yourself why am i doing this. Basically cause I’m a freaking scifi horror nerd.
