Frantz

Anna (21 year-old Paula Beer in a breakthrough performance), a bereft young German woman whose fiancé, Frantz, was killed during trench warfare, and Adrien (Pierre Niney, Yves Saint Laurent), a French veteran of the war who shows up mysteriously in her town, placing flowers on Frantz’s grave. Adrien’s presence is met with resistance by the small community still reeling from Germany’s defeat, yet Anna gradually gets closer to the handsome and melancholy young man, as she learns of his deep friendship with Frantz, conjured up in evocative flashbacks. Striking with preemptive speed, TriStar Pictures has acquired the worldwide rights to Danny Boyle’s much-anticipated sequel to “Trainspotting.” “T2 Trainspotting,” based on characters created by Irvine Welsh, reunites director Danny Boyle with screenwriter John Hodge and all of the principal cast of the 1996 film—Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Ewen Bremner and Robert Carlyle will reprise the iconic roles of Renton, Sick Boy, Spud and Begbie. Kong is the King of the box office

Kong Skull Island was triumphant at the box office this weekend with an estimated opening of 61$ mil$. This is good news for Warner as they will continue to build their monster squad franchise. Godzilla vs Kong coming in near future, but before expect Godzilla King of Monsters.

Kong: Skull Island reportedly came with a 185 mil$ price tag but worldwide opening weekend it earned 142 mil$ making it a success story. I can agree with critics and majority of public that say Kong is one of the most entertaining blockbusters recently. Pop corn in hands and go directly to the nearest cinema (78% on Rotten Tomatoes).
